In plain words
You who take yourself to be the body: suffering is not the nature of what has no body — as in deep sleep. To end that suffering, the words 'That you are' are spoken of the Seer, of pure seeing itself.
Close to the Sanskrit
O you who identify with the body — suffering is not, by nature, of the bodiless one; as in deep sleep. For the removal of that, 'That you are' is said with reference to the Seer.
