It was the intellect itself, wearing the shape of the object, that the person was seeing — even earlier, already then. If that were not so, how could anyone see anything in a dream? Or when someone remembers, where would the shape come from?

For the intellect alone, having the form of the object, was seen by the person even before as well. If not, how would one see in dream? Or whence the form for one who is remembering?
