In plain words

The sky is perfectly clear, unbroken from end to end: nothing sticks to it, nothing stains it. The ātman is like that — always in every being, always the same in all of them, and so it never ages, never dies, and has nothing to fear.

Close to the Sanskrit

Just as the utterly clear sky, unbroken, neither clings nor is stained, so too this Self, always the same in all beings, in them always, is indeed unaging, deathless, fearless.
