Kṛṣṇa said he was present in a fig tree exactly as much as in his own body — the same, no more here than there. Whoever knows the ātman like that, the same in everything, is the highest knower of Brahman there is.
Close to the Sanskrit
As Vāsudeva declared himself the same in the aśvattha tree and in his own body, likewise, whoever knows the Self as the same — he is the foremost knower of Brahman.
