In plain words

Neither the illusory elephant nor its rider exists; the magician remains entirely apart from them. Just so, the vital breaths and their witness do not touch the Knower, who is eternally pure consciousness. For one whose eyes are wide open, no illusion exists anywhere—not even for the magician. Illusion belongs solely to the one whose eyes are blindfolded; therefore, only the magician truly is.

Close to the Sanskrit

Neither the elephant nor the rider thereon exists, just as the magician remains other [than them]. Neither the prana etc., nor the seer thereof; similarly the Knower is ever other as pure vision. For one whose eyes are unbound, there is no illusion even for the magician, or [rather] that illusion belongs only to one whose eyes are bound; therefore the magician alone is.
