Verse 11

जरेयं पिशाचीव हा जीवतो मेवसामत्ति रक्तं च मांसं बलं च ।अहो देव सीदामि दीनानुकम्पि-न्किमद्यापि हन्त त्वयोदासितव्यम् ॥ ११ ॥

In plain words

Like a female demon, old age devours my fat, my blood, my flesh, and my strength while I am still alive. O Lord, compassionate to the helpless, I am sinking. Why do you still remain indifferent?

This old age, like a female demon, alas, eats the fat, blood, flesh, and strength of me while I live. Oh Lord, I sink in distress, compassionate one; why even now, alas, must You remain indifferent?
