In plain words

May the divine locks of Lord Viṣṇu—resting peacefully while He sleeps, filling the skies, glowing with gem-light and body-radiance like smoke from the fire that burns hostile demons—completely sever the heavy bonds of our suffering.

Close to the Sanskrit

May the locks of hair of Viṣṇu—which appear like sleeping ones when the Lord is asleep, whose true forms are unseen even by the gods, which pervade the intervals of the sky, colored by the brilliance of trembling gems, vividly radiant, glowing with the uprising shadow of the body, and acting like smoke-clouds from the wrathful fire that scorches the bodies of enemy demons—destroy for us the noose of vast afflictions.
