In plain words

And in the Aitareya text: 'This is the path, this is action, this is Brahman, this is truth. Therefore, never neglect it, never transgress it; for those ancients who transgressed met with ruin.' As the seer expressed it: 'Three kinds of progeny wandered away by transgressing, while others took refuge around the sun; the infinite stood within all worlds, and the purifying breath pervaded every realm.'

And in the Aitareya: 'This is the path, this is action, this is Brahman, this is truth; therefore one should not be negligent of it, one should not transgress it; for those ancients who transgressed, transgressing perished.' That has been said by the Rishi: 'Three progeny indeed transgressed and went away; others entered all around the sun; the great [Brahman] stood within the worlds; the purifying one entered the radiant directions.'
