The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Viṣṇusahasranāmastotram

Verse 400

न वनं गन्तुकामस्य त्यजतश्च वसुंधराम् ।सर्वलोकातिगस्यैव मनो रामस्य विव्यथे ॥

In plain words

Ready to leave for the forest, letting the whole earth go — and Rāma's mind did not tremble once. Nothing reached it, for he is the one who stands past all the worlds.

Close to the Sanskrit

Of him who was willing to go to the forest and who was relinquishing the earth — of Rāma, precisely because he transcends all worlds, the mind was not pained.
