In plain words

Vasuprada, Vāsudeva, Vasu, Vasumanas, and Havis. He is Manojava because His speed equals that of thought due to His omnipresence. He is Tīrthakara because He is the author of all traditional sciences and spiritual paths; Puranas record that taking the form of Hayagriva, He slew Madhu and Kaitabha at creation's dawn and imparted all sacred lore to Brahma, while also teaching heterodox systems to delude the unrighteous. He is Vasuretas because gold is His generative essence, as Vyasa states: 'Having first created the waters, the Lord deposited His seed within them, which became the golden cosmic egg, the supreme origin of the creator.' He is Vasuprada because He grants material abundance, being the true Lord of wealth, whereas Kubera rules only by His grace. He is Vasuprada a second time because He bestows liberation upon His devotees, as scripture declares: 'Brahman is consciousness and bliss, the ultimate refuge of the wise.' Alternatively, He is Vasuprada because He shatters the treasures of the demons. He is Vāsudeva as the son of Vasudeva. He is Vasu because all beings dwell in Him and He dwells in them. He is Vasu because He pervades all things equally; one who possesses such an all-embracing mind is Vasumanas. He is Havis, as the Lord affirms: 'The oblation is Brahman.'

Vasuprada, Vāsudeva, Vasu, Vasumanas, Havis. Manojava because His speed is like that of the mind, on account of His omnipresence. Tīrthakara because He is the promulgator and expounder of the fourteen sciences and external doctrines; Puranic authorities narrate that in the form of Hayagriva, having slain Madhu and Kaitabha at the beginning of creation, He taught all the Vedas and other sciences, and also promulgated heterodox doctrines for the delusion of the enemies of the gods. Vasuretas because gold is His seed, from Vyasa's statement: 'The shining god, having formerly created the waters, cast His vital energy into them; that became the golden cosmic egg, the supreme cause of Brahma.' Vasuprada because He grants wealth abundantly, being directly the lord of wealth [Kubera], while the other [Kubera] is lord of wealth through His grace. A second Vasuprada because He bestows the supreme fruit called liberation upon devotees, from the scriptural passage: 'Knowledge, bliss, Brahman, the giver's bounty, the supreme refuge of one abiding and knowing that.' Or Vasuprada because He shatters the wealth of the enemies of the gods completely. Vāsudeva because He is the offspring of Vasudeva. Vasu because beings dwell in Him and He also dwells in them. Vasu because He dwells in all objects without distinction; one whose mind is such is Vasumanas. Havis, from the Lord's utterance: 'The offering is Brahman, the oblation is Brahman.'
