दुःखेनावास्यते चित्ते योगिभिः समाधाविति दुरावासः ।दुरारिणो दानवादयः तान् हन्तीति दुरारिहा ॥

Even yogins in samādhi can lodge him in the mind only with great difficulty — and so he is Durāvāsa, the one hard to house. The evil enemies are the dānavas and their kind; he strikes them down — and so he is Durārihā, slayer of the wicked foes.
