In plain words
He deserves to be worshipped — that is Arhaḥ, the Worthy One. And he is not only worthy of receiving what is dear: for those who worship him with praise and all the rest, he does what is dear to them — that is Priyakṛt, the doer of what is dear. And in those same people he makes love grow — that is Prītivardhanaḥ, the increaser of love.
