He is the wisest of all, completely free from fear, and the one whose very name purifies those who hear or chant it. He is Akrūraḥ, the gentle Lord, because there is not a trace of cruelty in Him. He is Peśalaḥ, the charming one, because He is sweet and gentle in His actions, thoughts, and words. He is Dakṣaḥ, the mighty, because of His infinite expansion. He is Dakṣiṇaḥ, the dexterous, because He is perfectly capable of accomplishing all tasks. He is the foremost among those who forgive. He is Vidvattamaḥ, the supreme knower, because He is the source of all wisdom. He is Vītabhayaḥ, the fearless, because He dispels all dread from the hearts of His devotees.
