द्यौः सचन्द्रार्कनक्षत्रा' इत्यादिना स्तुत्यस्य वासुदेवस्य माहात्म्यकथनेनोक्तानां फलानां प्राप्तिवचनं यथार्थकथनं नार्थवाद इति दर्शयति ।सर्वागमानामाचारः' इत्यने• नावान्तरवाक्येन सर्वधर्माणामाचारवत एवाधिकार इति दर्शयति ॥

With the line 'the sky, with its moon and sun and stars,' and the lines that follow it, the greatness of Vāsudeva — the one worth praising — is being declared; and so the promise that the rewards just named are actually obtained is a statement of fact, not eulogy. That is what he shows. And with the phrase 'the conduct of all the scriptures,' a sentence set in along the way, he shows this: the entitlement belongs only to someone who keeps the conduct of all the dharmas.
