That is why the wise, those who have seen the truth, call the mind ignorance itself -- because it alone sets the whole universe spinning, exactly the way the wind drives a mass of clouds across the sky.

Therefore the learned, the seers of truth, have called the mind 'ignorance', by which alone the universe is whirled about, just as a mass of clouds is whirled about by the wind.
