In plain words
There is something that shines more and more clearly through waking, dream, and deep sleep alike, flashing within, always as one, always as 'I, I' — turned wholly inward. It watches the ego, the intellect, and all their shifting shapes come and go, while it alone shines on as pure, eternal consciousness and bliss. Know that — right there in your heart — as your own true Self.

That [principle] which shines forth ever more clearly in waking, dream, and deep sleep, always flashing within, in the form of the inward Self, as one, as 'I, I' — seeing these [objects], beginning with the ego and intellect, that undergo many forms and changes, [yet itself] shining as the Self of eternal bliss and consciousness — know that as your own Self in the heart.
