In plain words

Pour over me the nectar of your words, Master — pure, cool, bright, brimming with the very taste of Brahman’s bliss, sweet to the ear, flowing from the vessel of your speech. I am burning in the wildfire of this world. Blessed indeed are those made fit to receive even a moment of your glance, those you have taken as your own.

Drench this one, scorched by the flames of the forest-fire of worldly affliction, O Lord, with nectar-words — pure, very cool, bright, poured forth from the pitcher of your speech, pleasant to hear, filled with the experience of the essence of Brahman’s bliss. Blessed are those who, by the passing of a moment of your glance, have been made worthy vessels and accepted.
