In plain words

Your feet are rosy lotuses, heaped with gold anklets that ring softly as you go. Your mind is caught in the beat — dhimi dhimi dhimi dhimi — and your steps are lovely with it. Whoever takes hold of your lotus feet, you lift every burning sorrow out of their heart, always. Victory to you, Yamunā! Victory, you who turn back fear, you who break open every tight place I am caught in — make me clean.

Close to the Sanskrit

O you whose lotus feet are rosy, heaped with golden anklets of soft ringing sound; O you of charming footfall, your mind delighted by the beat dhimi-dhimi-dhimi-dhimi; O you who always carry off every burning sorrow from the hearts of the people who have taken refuge at your lotus feet — victory to you, Yamunā, victory, O warder-off of fear, O destroyer of every tight place: purify me.
