Her water carries the darkness of Kṛṣṇa's body, worn like the beauty-mark on his skin. Next to her, heaven is a blade of grass. She takes the grief of the three worlds and carries it off. Along her banks, thicket after thicket of groves that gladden the mind have shaken every trace of wild pride away. Kalinda's daughter — may she shake the stain out of our minds, always.
