The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Yogatārāvalī

Verse 17

In plain words

Let go of 'I' and 'mine' and all that trails behind them. For those whose minds rest steady in Rājayoga there is no one left who sees, and nothing left to be seen — consciousness alone, unmixed with anything, opens wide.

Close to the Sanskrit

Having cast off all of it — the 'I' and the 'mine' and the rest — for those whose minds are steady in the glorious Rājayoga there is no seer-hood, nor is there any condition of being seen; that pure consciousness alone opens out.
