Yogatārāvalī

Verse 23

In plain words

These masters of restraint: as the innate no-mind takes hold and the grip of I and mine goes slack, they arrive at a state the mind cannot reach, where even the breath has stopped moving — and nothing is left but open sky.

Close to the Sanskrit

These foremost among the self-restrained ones, when — through the innate no-mind state — I-ness and mine-ness become slack, go to a state beyond the mind, empty of the movement of the breath, having only open sky as its remainder.
