The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Yogatārāvalī

Verse 4

In plain words

Hold the breath — filling, emptying, holding — until every channel in you is washed clean. Then the sound they call anāhata, the unstruck sound, begins inside you and never stops, coming in one form after another.

Close to the Sanskrit

When all the nāḍīs have been thoroughly purified by the retentions of the breath together with exhalation and inhalation, the resonance called anāhata would always arise within, in many modes.
