With supremely intense dispassion are spoken the Haṃsa and Paramahaṃsa paths. The Haṃsa is said to attain liberation in Brahmaloka, while for the Paramahaṃsa liberation can ripen through knowledge in this very world. The steadfast Paramahaṃsa too is of two kinds; hear their distinction.
