The disciple asked: “Having known everywhere the full Reality in which ‘you’ and ‘I’ are not two, can this knowledge slip away?” The Guru answered: “The recognition of one's own Brahman-nature arises through the true Guru and scripture; yet if obstacles remain, that recognition may fail to become unwavering abidance.”
