Hearing his disciple speak thus, the Teacher looked upon him with joy, drew him close and said with compassion: “If you remain firmly established in Self-knowledge, never allowing the three obstacles—ignorance, doubt and contrary habit—to take hold again, that itself is the return you make to me.”
