In plain words
O mountain-born Kāmākṣī, may your innocent soft smile, a treasury of growing grace and the mother of Kandarpa's pride, steal away my sin. O Umā, when your hand had been taken in marriage and that smile was shut away in shyness, Śambhu, wanting to see it, had Taṇḍu, who delights in the tāṇḍava, dance freely before you.
Word for word
Kāmākṣī, the growing-grace-treasury, Kandarpa-pride-mother, innocent your soft smile indeed, mountain-born, may steal my sin; which to see, when done the hand-taking, Umā, Śambhu shyness-closed freely caused, by the tāṇḍava-play-delighting Taṇḍu.
