नाथे नः पुरुषोत्तमे त्रिजगतामेकाधिपे चेतसासेव्ये स्वस्य पदस्य दातरि सुरे नारायणे तिष्ठति ।यं कञ्चित्पुरुषाधमं कतिपयग्रामेशमल्पार्थदंसेवायै मृगयामहे नरमहो मूका वराका वयम् ॥ २८ ॥
In plain words
While our Lord, the supreme Person, sole ruler of the three worlds, worthy to be served in the mind, who gives his own abode, the God Nārāyaṇa, is here, we go in search of some low man, lord of a few villages, who gives a little wealth, to serve him. Alas, how dumb and wretched we are!
