Paragraph 18
In plain words
Someone who has to sweep up rubbish and throw it away gains nothing by examining it. In the same way, someone who has to know himself gains nothing by counting the tattvas that hide him, saying "there are so many of them", instead of throwing them all out together, or by examining their qualities. Regard the world as a dream.
Word for word
Just as there is no use in a man who has to sweep up rubbish and throw it away examining it, so too there is no use in a man who has to know himself counting the tattvas that conceal him, as being so many, instead of throwing them all out together, and examining their qualities. One must regard the world as a dream.
