In plain words
In 'the lotus is blue,' the blue quality meant by 'blue' and the lotus substance meant by 'lotus' respectively exclude difference from whiteness and from cloth and the like. One may therefore take their mutual qualifier-qualified relation, either one qualified by the other, or their identity as the sentence-meaning without conflict with another Pramāṇa; so that sentence-meaning stands.
