Unit 173

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

The reflected Consciousness there is unable to illumine self-luminous supreme Brahman, non-different from the inward Ātma, and is overcome by it just as lamplight, though able to illumine, is overcome by sunlight. When the indivisible Vṛtti that is its own Upādhi is sublated, it becomes nothing but supreme Brahman non-different from the inward Ātma, just as a reflected face is nothing but the face when the mirror is absent.
