In plain words

He takes on bodies, worlds and vāsanās, fitting one another: so he says: Taking on bodies according to their place, and impressions in the shape of the body, he is seen distinctly in each such form, in that very form. It is through their fitting one another, and in no other way, that these gods and the rest accomplish their distinct usage. And he, taking on the body and the rest, is perceived ‘in that very form’, the form of māyā, as the one everyone knows.
