In plain words

‘This wish of ours has already borne fruit, since the Lord is of such a kind’: with this intent he speaks a praise whose nature is the parāmarśa of His uncommon excellence: Homage to the bearer of the trident, rich in a power that looks to no other, in the emanation and withdrawal of the worlds and in appointing each of them to its good. To the bearer of the trident, whose reality, the expanse of the supreme power, has been settled; and for that very reason to Him whose Self is the unfolding of His own freedom that depends on nothing, in the varied birth and dissolution of all the worlds, from Sadāśiva down to the sakalas, and in ‘appointing each to its good’, whose nature is the gaining of what each desires, that is, in bringing about enjoyment and final release: ‘homage’, as before, and so too in what follows.
