In plain words

Moreover: Homage be to You, O Bhava, who, though free of desire, grant endless desires, and who, though without beginning, are the enjoyer of the universe. To Him who, precisely because He is full ānanda, has gone out from ‘desires’, that is, longings, and yet brings about the things desired, which are the various enjoyments and liberation; and so too, ‘though without beginning’, that is, though His form is the one without a second, the beginning of the universe, to the ‘enjoyer’, that is, the one who savours in wonder, of the universe ever made to well up on His own screen, which is the object of enjoyment. And: how can one who has no desires grant them, and how could one who is anādin, that is, by nature not eating, be the enjoyer of the universe? So this is the figure of contradiction.
