In plain words
And You are their Lord in no common way; so he says: You are the Brahman even of Brahman; of what ruler are You not the Lord? The good of the good of the world: who knows how great You are? That which is the ‘good’ ‘of the world’, that is, within the universe: Īśa, Sadāśiva and Śiva; the ‘good’ even of these, that is, the One who graces by spreading forth His own Self, a dense mass of the full ānanda of cit: ‘who knows’ how great that greatness is? You are one whose greatness cannot be measured: that is the meaning. For ‘even of Brahman’, whose form is the great prakāśa and who is worshipped in the Vedānta, You are the ‘Brahman’: You are exalted, being made of the power of freedom of Brahman, and You make it grow, by granting it the power of fashioning the universe. As it is said in the Gītā: “My womb is the great Brahman; in it I place the seed; from that, O Bhārata, comes the birth of all beings.” So it is said. And so too: “This supreme Brahman, O Lord, is neuter: how much could it bear fruit, if Your Śakti, the beautiful, who sets its manhood to work, were not there?” So it is said. And so too, of what ‘ruler’, from Brahmā up to Śiva, are You not ‘the Lord’? Rather, You are the Master of all.
