In plain words

Salutation to Agni, who dwells in the earth, who holds the world in mind: bestow the world upon this sacrificer. Salutation to Vāyu, who dwells in the middle region, who holds the world in mind: bestow the world upon this sacrificer. Salutation to Āditya, who dwells in the sky, who holds the world in mind: bestow the world upon this sacrificer. Salutation to Brahman, who dwells in all, who holds all in mind: bestow all upon this sacrificer. "The face of the real is covered over with a golden vessel; do thou, O Pūṣan, uncover it for one whose law is the real, for Viṣṇu." The person who is in the sun yonder — that am I. He whose law is the real is the sunhood of the sun; that is the white person, without mark, a mere portion of the splendour set within the sky — that which is as though in the middle of the sun, and in the eye and in the fire. This is Brahman, this is the immortal, this is the splendour, this is he whose law is the real. It is a mere portion of the splendour set within the sky — that which is in the middle of the sun, the immortal, whose sprouts are Soma and the breaths. This is Brahman, this is the immortal, this is the splendour, this is he whose law is the real. It is a mere portion of the splendour set within the sky — that which shines in the middle of the sun as the Yajus: Om, the waters, light, savour, the immortal, Brahman, bhūḥ bhuvaḥ svaḥ, Om. The swan of eight feet, pure, of three threads, minute, unfading, of two laws, blind, kindled by splendour — seeing all, he sees. It is a mere portion of the splendour set within the sky — that which, having risen in the middle of the sun, becomes its ray. This is Savitṛ, this is he whose law is the real, this is the Yajus, this is austerity, this is fire, this is the wind, this is the breath, this are the waters, this is the moon, this is the bright one, this is the immortal, this is the realm of Brahman, this is the sea of light. In it the sacrificer dissolves like salt; and this is oneness with Brahman, for here all desires are gathered together. On this they quote: "Like a lamp's flame stirred by a slight wind, that one within the gods flashes forth. He who knows thus is the knower, the knower of the two, and comes to the one abode and is of its nature. And those that go up ceaselessly like drops, like the flashings of lightning in a cloud in the highest heaven — those flames, by the power of the ground they rest on, are like the matted locks of the black-pathed fire."
