In plain words
This Self within the heart is finer than the finest, kindled like fire, of every form. All this is its food, and these creatures are woven upon it. This is the Self whose evil is struck away, ageless, deathless, sorrowless, free of doubt, free of bonds, whose resolve is true and whose desire is true. This is the highest Lord, the overlord of beings, the guardian of beings, the bridge and the sustainer. For this Self is the ruler, the benign, the becoming one, Rudra, Prajāpati, the maker of all, the golden germ, the real, the breath, the swan, the ordainer, the unfallen, Viṣṇu, Nārāyaṇa. And he who is in the fire, and he who is here in the heart, and he who is yonder in the sun — he is one. To thee, of every form, set in the real, in the sky, salutation.
