Apart from your own Self, who is there at all? And if someone speaks of you — anything, praising or belittling — who is the speaker, and whom does it touch? Knowing this, let the praise come, let the blame come; what has any of it to do with what you are? Do not sort the world into 'myself' and 'others'; do not stir from your own natural state. Simply stand as the Self, and let that standing be all.
