In plain words
Many arms, many bellies, many faces, many eyes — that is what I see when I look at you. I see you everywhere, on every side, in forms that never run out. I look for an end and there is none; I look for a middle — that space between two edges — and there is none; I look, again, for where you began, and there is nothing there either. I do not see your end, I do not see your middle, I do not see, once more, your beginning, O Lord of all the universe, O form of the universe itself.
Close to the Sanskrit
Many-armed-bellied-faced-eyed — many arms, bellies, faces, and eyes of whom, of you, he, you, are many-armed-bellied-faced-eyed, him, many-armed-bellied-faced-eyed. I see you, you, everywhere, on all sides, of endless form — endless forms belong to this one, thus one of endless form, him, of endless form. Not an end — end means cessation; not a middle — middle means the interval between two extremities; nor again your beginning — I do not see the end of the god, I do not see the middle, nor again do I see the beginning, O Lord of the universe, O universal form.
