In plain words

When Ūrvaśī came to you of her own accord, in love with you, you refused her. When she asked you to give her a son by you, you asked her instead to regard you as her own son. Such is your peerless greatness; you are one who has conquered the senses. Then Ūrvaśī, her ploy failed and her desire thwarted, cursed you to become a eunuch; and was it not in the city of Virāṭa that that curse was worked off? Where has that fortitude gone? Where has this dejection come from? Chā! What a coward you are! Was it to show this cowardly valour that you came running at midnight, woke me from my sleep and asked me to come and help you in the war? Enough, enough. Root out this wretched moha. Burn up this weakness. Take up your strength," he said.
