Passage 18

In plain words

The sun is a great tyāgi, a yogi: a yogi of niṣkāma karma who performs the karma of duty without seeking his own comfort or rest for even a minute; unostentatious and without pride. Though he does for the world, and delivers to it, help and welfare such as no one else does, he carries himself like one who does nothing at all. ‘So many works are being done for the world through me, are they not! If I were not there, what fate would the world have met?’: never does he think this with pride.
