Passage 7

In plain words

As beads are strung on a thread, the Vedas are the beads strung on Praṇava, the anāhata sound. Water is held within Him, who is the svarūpa of taste. Kṛṣṇa Paramātma's teaching is that the Manas must be merged in this very Praṇava, the support of all. Sound has the nature of dissolving the Manas. Whatever the Manas sees, it wants to have all of it. Craving every single thing is its whole business. Even so fickle a Manas can be dissolved in sound. That is why the Manas has been compared to a serpent.
