Passage 10

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

Though having desire is one fault, when he takes refuge not in a man who is his equal but in the Lord of all, the second fault does not cling to him. Surely one who has one fault stands on a higher level than one who has two! In this matter, at such a juncture, if one looks chiefly at whom he is asking rather than at what he is asking for, the holiness in it comes to light. It can be said that one who, even with a sakāma attitude, does not ask his equals but keeps his aim fixed on the Lord of all belongs to the best class. Such a one can truly be a devotee.
