Above all, it is such men of evil conduct who are the cause of the waning of our Bhārata's morality, its people and its culture. Because of such people even faith in God has been lost. What they preach is renunciation; what they crave is enjoyment. Their talk is moral talk; what they put to use is hatred and envy. These are the worst enemies of sannyāsis; they are what journey towards a fall. With no harmony between deed and word, it is nothing but untruth; it is not truth.
