In plain words

Among householders there are many who are truthful by nature, sāttvika of heart, rich in good conduct and free of hatred. All hatreds and all desires are digging pits right beside the tyāgīs, the yogīs and those who wear a disguise. Envy, Ahaṅkāra and ostentation bring the sādhaka to utter ruin. But sādhakas and devotees must stand equal to all these: giving up what has to be given up, living in good conduct and contemplating the Lord of all, they must attain the Ānanda of experience, and that is what they must give to the world. Only then will the world have Śānti and welfare. It was of such holy jñānis that Kṛṣṇa Paramātma spoke with special regard. He also declared, “It is through jñānis that the world shines. A man without Jñāna is like a house without a lamp.”
