“If one cannot offer even that much to God, what kind of sādhana is such a one's sādhana? The man who has no strength to remember Me with a citta given to no other makes his offering to wife and children, needless and fleeting, to fame and honour, to office and prestige: where does that strength come from? The strength he has for doing everything else, does he not have it for making an offering to God?”
