The Gītā must be put to sacred use in this way; to misuse it is a great wrong. If, without practising it, one brings in pomp and show for the sake of name and fame, honour and respect, that is not only selfishness; it becomes treachery to God. From the book we must draw out the fragrance that is its content. Even the book must be turned into the head; the head must not be turned into a book.
