If God Himself made distinctions, would He have granted sāyujya to the gopīs, who were women? Would He have eaten the fruits Śabarī had first tasted? Would Janaka have become a brahmajñāni? Would He have given Nandanār His divine darśana? Would He have drawn Prahlāda, Vibhīṣaṇa and the rest close to Him? Would He have accepted Hanumān, a monkey, as Rāma's own servant? Would Vālmīki have been able to write the Rāmāyaṇa? Do all these deeds show distinction in God? Or do they set Him forth as one free of distinction? Let the readers reflect, and the matter will be clear. These examples are themselves the proof of God's Prema-tattva and of His equality.
