Through service you must come to understand the principle of the Ātma within you. This itself is the chief purpose for which the Sathya Sai Seva Dal was founded. The sub-committees appointed yesterday have certainly offered many recommendations, but whether you are ready to put them into practice is the big question. Man is the embodiment of Satya, Satya that has taken form. Society too is nothing but a gathering of human beings born of a portion of the Divine; it is not a crowd driven by Ahaṅkāra.
