In plain words
If one would strengthen faith in God, one must strengthen Satya. One must have faith in Dharma. One must develop faith in one's own divinity. One must regard faith as life itself. A body without faith is a corpse. A student without faith cannot even study. Only when we develop faith in every karma we do, and then do it, are we entitled to receive the fruit of karma. So true teaching is to give students a learning that holds these three: fear, Bhakti and faith. We may also call this national education. Only when every student studies such national education will the country become an example.
Education must hold three qualities: selflessness, humility and simplicity
Education means the divine radiance that shines forth from man. It must hold these three qualities: selflessness, humility and simplicity. Simplicity is most necessary to a student. A student who lives simply has the chance to study. A student must be humble and obedient.
Learning gives humility; from humility comes worthiness; from worthiness wealth, and from wealth Dharma; from that a man gains both this world and the next.
The student of today does not understand, does not know, what humility is. We must honour our elders when we see them. We must behave without show before our elders. First of all we must honour our mother and father. Why? Our very body is theirs. All that we have is theirs. If we do not give our gratitude to them, to whom else shall we give it? There is a great Power that has given us everything.
