Passage 4

In plain words

Education is broad. It is sacred. It is of the nature of Satya. People turn such education into false learning, use it for selfishness and self-interest, and think that virtue grows merely by earning some money. That is impossible. One can measure the sea. It is not possible to measure the divine principle of Prema by the Buddhi, by learning or by science. Such a sacred principle of God is beyond measure. Everything has a measure. What has a measure? Only things with name and form have a measure. Nirguṇam, nirañjanam. Sanātanam, niketanam: the principle of the Ātma, whose form is eternal, pure, awake, free and spotless, needs no measure. It is beyond measure. Every man must develop such a divine principle in his heart, grow his inner vision, bring forth all the power within him, and take shape as one who does good to society. Only when we take such shape shall we be those who have made true humanness manifest. Through our learning, our personality, our strength and ability, our cleverness, we must be of use to society. We cannot exist even for a moment without society. Man cannot live forgetting society. Humanness, which is born in society, grows in society and comes to its end in society, has no right to set society apart. That is why we must make our humanness fruitful along with society. As milk joins milk and water joins water, we must develop our individuality and become one with society.

The one who makes manifest the hidden, unmanifest divinity within him is the true individual

What is an individual? One cannot call a man who merely wears a form an individual.
